Every day business co-evolves with competition. In a split second, firms can come to light or are selected out.

Disruption is impacting every industry and type of enterprise. Age, dimension, cultural context, or ownership no longer seem to guarantee survival per se.

But it is not all gloom and doom. My teaching, research and impact activities aim to provide a contribution about the keys to surviving in our turbulent times.

Healthy firms do matter for the well-being of society. I am thus committed to discussing takeaways on how firms can thrive.

The Businesstype aims to stimulate an intellectual comparison with the genotype and phenotype in natural sciences. I created this blog to connect students, colleagues both from academia and industry, and policy makers.
